Life Source is a representation of the Namoi river in Gunnedah and Mooki river in Breeza, with parallels to the Murrumbidgee river in ACT, particularly during the dry season. As a young child travelling back to country, I always sensed a great connection to these stretches of water, particularly from hearing stories of my dad and my grandmother playing down by the river with their siblings, cousins and friends. The dryness of my country is depicted in the cracked earth and the gradual vibrancy dots toward the river embodies the importance of caring for our waterways that sustain life.
Diptych – there are 2 canvases that make up this artwork. They can be displayed horizontally or vertically.

Items purchased through the AIATSIS Indigenous Art Market 2021 will be posted via Australia Post within 10 business days of purchase. Please note that due to COVID and the approaching festive season, it is not guaranteed that items will be delivered before Christmas. Please allow 2-5 weeks for delivery.

It is important to Leah that you are pleased with your purchase. If you are dissatisfied with the product you have purchased, please contact Leah within 7 days of receiving your order with the issue. If the issue cannot be resolved, a full refund can only be made on the grounds that the product is unlike what was described online. Change of mind will not be considered.
Leah cannot guarantee a full refund, exchange or store credit if you contact after 7 days from receiving the item.

All other returns will either receive an exchange with an artwork of the same value, or a store credit to the same value of the returned product. The purchaser must arrange and cover the costs of return shipping. The product must be returned in its original state (for example; fine art prints in their original packaging, canvases on their original frames) so please ensure the product is packaged and shipped safely.
