Renata Collins

Renata Collins lives in the remote Robinson River Community near Borroloola. Waralungku Arts has a satellite presence in Robinson River and provides artists with support for arts and cultural practices.

Renata is originally form Elliot which is half way between Alice Springs and Darwin. Since her marriage to a local Garrwa man, she has lived, worked and raised her family as a Robinson River local.

Renata is a skilled painter with extensive knowledge of bush foods, bush medicines and local wild-life. All of these subjects come through strongly in her artistic practice.

Her vibrant and detailed paintings are a reflection of both her cultural knowledge and her highly developed creative abilities
