Patsy-Anne George

Patsy-Anne George is a Garrwa woman from the remote Robinson River Community near Borroloola where a small but talented groups of Waralungku artists live and work

Pasty-Anne is a skilled painter with an in-depth knowledge of her (Garrwa) country and its many scared sites, water-ways, bush foods and animals.

Her detailed landscapes are often depicting very specific places on her country which may be sacred areas, bush foods gathering lands or places where specific wild-life can be found. She also like to use painting to document local bush tucker or bush medicine plants.
