Miranda Alec Nambin

Miranda Alec Nambin was born in Darwin in 1990. Miranda paints her Dreaming stories, which have been passed down through her family. The stories include Lamawurt (Witchetty Grub), Honey Ant, Kalngi (Bush Tomato), and Yarla (Bush Potato). Although Miranda has six children, she still manages to spend her spare time in the Art Centre painting her traditional stories with her mother, Pamela Morris and her aunts, Rachael Morris and Rosemary Johnson, all of whom are well known artists.
