Dylan Miller Poulson Japangardi is a young Warlpiri artist who learned to paint Dreaming stories by watching his grandparents and mother from the Tanami. Dylan and his wife have worked at Karungkarni Art Centre as artworkers since 2014. They trained in digital archiving with Indigenous Remote Communications Association and in 2015 Dylan graduated ANKA’s Art Worker Extension Program. Dylan’s interests include digital video media, painting and music. His artwork has featured in Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (2014-2019); Charles Darwin University’s commemorative exhibition for the Vincent Lingiari Lecture (2015-2019); and is touring nationally in the Karungkarni/Brenda L Croft exhibition, Still In My Mind: Gurindji location, experience and visuality.
