Jewellery is handmade and it is a long process to get them done.

When the season is right and seeds are ready, Anangu will collect Ininti tree seeds, Gumnuts and Quandong seeds from the bush or tree to make beautiful indigenous jewellery such as bracelets, necklaces and earrings.

Anangu will find and collect the seeds at the right age, otherwise the paint will come off.

The inside of the seeds gets emptied out and a hot wire is used to pierce the hole for the elastic band or a leather cord. Then they will stuck on top of a little stick and will be stuck into sand. Then they receive the first paint coat which is usually black. After it is dried the base colour will be applied. After drying, the artist applies the patterns and after a next drying phase the painted seeds will be combined on the elastic band.

Each piece of jewellery is unique.
