The inspiration behind this artwork is the power of our Elders and community all coming together in different gatherings places. I really wanted to acknowledge and honour all their hardwork, encouragement and show my appreciation.
The big beautiful sun painted is representing a new day arising and I’ve also added stars which are shining brightly representing our ancestors who have passed but played such a powerful part of our lives.
