Hello my name is Samuel Poantimului. I was born and grew up at Wurrumiyanga, Bathurst Island. Now I’ve moved to Pirlangimpi and am working at Munupi art centre doing carving.
I start by watching and learning from my father as he made a lot of birds, small and big carvings for galleries. So I’m at the art centre now doing carving and also to earn some income..
