Rosie Ware

UMI Arts

Rosie Ware is an award-winning visual artist and designer, and is the founder of Rosie Ware Designs, based on Thursday Island. Rosie originates from Wag Village, Moa Island, in the Torres Strait.

Rosie’s designs are inspired by the stories and marine creatures that inhabit the reefs and seas surrounding her home on Thursday Island and Wag Village on Moa Island. Her art expresses her vibrant personality and her love for beachcombing.
