Arlpwe Art & Culture CentreNancy Long Artist Nancy Long was born in Ali Curung, and went to school in Ali Curung. She started painting in the year 2000. Nancy enjoys painting at the Arlpwe Art Centre. As the company and atmosphere in the Arlpwe Art Centre is very relaxed. Nancy states, “My works are mainly seed story and bush medicine. I like to use tonal colours with rhythm and line.” Nancy’s bush medicine paintings are generally representing the bush plums that grow in the sand hills around Ali Curung.
