Maringka Baker

Maringka is a respected elder and resident of the Kaltukatjara Aged Care Centre. She has painted with Tjarlirli Art since 2019, participating in a number of workshops including ink and paper works and acrylic painting. Her sparse style is evocative of her knowledge of country and women’s ceremonies in which paint is applied to the body including the shoulders and breasts.
