Linda Stevens

Linda was born in Ernabella and grew up in Fregon and later moved to Nyapari in the western APY Lands. Linda paints the country of Piltati, near Kanpi. Linda comes from a renowned family of painters and is the daughter of Keith Stevens. Linda started her painting career in Tjungu Palya and now lives in Fregon with her family.

Linda and her family visit Piltati often and these visits help her paint her country. and tjukurpa. Often Linda will include the two travelling sisters (Minyma Kutjara) in her painngs. This tjurkurpa is part of the Wanampi Kutjara (Two Water Snake) story of Piltati.
