My name is Elizabeth Lunduwiyin Marrkula. I was born in Arnhem Land near Buckingham Bay. My Language is Gupapuygu and my clan is Marrkula. My Mother is Djilipana1 and my Father is Marralal (both deceased). My Moiety is yirritja. I learned to weave by myself by watching others. I would go with them to collect pandanus and dyes. I like making baskets and mats and stringbags. My sister also taught me to do weaving. I’ve got two boys, Peter and Jason.
