Cecelia Slade

Born in Cairns with TSI heritage, Cecelia had a keen interest in the arts as a young person. In recent times, she has now reignited that interest as an adult. Mediums that she works with include acrylics, water painting and graphite but ceramics are a favourite. Block print and ink work and jewelry making are new mediums that Cecelia has been exploring. Cecelia works as a teacher in Yarrabah and enjoys spending time with the dog, Scout at the beach. She regularly exhibits her work in UMI Arts group exhibitions, and her prints and jewellery are popular best-sellers in the UMI Arts Gift Shop.
