Beryl Bell

Beryl Bell is an established artist from Kaltukatjara (Docker River). Beryl paints important Tjukurpa (Dreaming) from around the Docker River area, including Seven Sisters and Kungka Kutjara. Beryl is also an arts worker at the Kaltukatjara facility, and she enjoys preparing the artists’ materials and maintaining the studio space. In her painting practice, Beryl deploys classical desert motifs while experimenting with a range of styles, from full-bodied symphonies of colour to more minimalist renderings which leave visible the black backgrounds of the canvases.
