Anne Gumurdul is one of the Traditional Owners of the kunred (country) on which Gunbalanya community is based. She is the daughter of Mayinbarra Gumurdul and Nipper Marakara Gumurdul and a sister of Donald Gumurdul. Anne calls Wunnju karrardwarrekenh (motherland). Anne is a master weaver.
