Ngurru
Ngurru is an independent, sovereign, weaving business.
Combining and merging both traditional and contemporary techniques to create fibre art, we produce hand-crafted items and provide versatile weaving workshops.
Ngurru weaves everything from woven earrings, necklaces, baskets, dillybags, mats and eel traps through to wall hangings.
Jessika Spencer is a Wiradjuri Woman from the Sandhills of the Western Riverina, Narrungdera. She was raised by her Elder and Matriarch, Aunty Beryl Simpson, beside the Murrumbidgee River. She currently resides on Ngunnawal, Ngambri Country, in the Nation’s Capital.
Sustainability, land management and cultural heritage are at the core of her work; the materials used are bio-degradable and carefully collected from country.
Jessika created Ngurru as an act of empowerment and self-determination. Her pieces are crafted with this in mind, each being instilled with those elements.

Shipping policy
We use Australia Post for our deliveries. Standard delivery within Australia, shipping and handling is included within the listed price.
Express delivery is available, as is international shipping, please send me a message and I will invoice you for the extra cost.
Please allow 3 business days to create your woven piece, and a further 2 business days for shipping and handling before dispatching.
After being dispatched, parcels can generally take up to 21 days to be delivered to you depending on your location.
Refund policy
For Australia based orders: Unless an item is faulty or wrongly described, we are unable to issue refunds. If there are any issues, please contact me and I will happily fix them.
