About Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Women's Council Aboriginal Corporation
Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Women's Council Aboriginal Corporation is led by women's law, authority and culture to deliver health, social and cultural services for all Aboriginal people across the Ngaanyatjarra, Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara (NPY) lands in Central Australia.
The NPY Women's Council's Ngangkari Program supports Ngangkari (Traditional Healers) to continue to look after the physical and emotional health of their people and maintain traditional healing practices in their communities.
Uti Kulintjaku is an award-winning initiative of the Ngangkari Program. Led by Ngangkari and Anangu, Uti Kulintjaku creates resources and tools to encourage deeper conversations about mental health and healing for Anangu and people working in Aboriginal health and related services. Uti Kulintjaku means to listen, think and understand clearly. ‘Uti Kulintjaku is a new way, using the old way, and bringing it into the new world’. (Uti Kulintjaku member).
In 2021, driven by a wealth of valuable resources the Ngangkari and Uti Kulintjaku teams founded Uwankara Wiru, meaning "Everything’s beautiful." At its core, Uwankara Wiru is crafted by Aṉangu, for Aṉangu. Our mission is to create a resilient source of income that addresses Aṉangu mental health needs, nurtures economic opportunities, and promotes Aṉangu culture and language.
Shipping policy
All of NPY Women’s Council products are shipped with Australia Post unless otherwise negotiated. We do not currently accept international orders. Orders will be dispatched within 7 working days and shipping times are estimated at between 3-7 business days. As we are based in a remote location, shipping times may be longer than expected.
Refund policy
Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. If you are a consumer for the purposes of the Australian Consumer Law, or any equivalent State or Territory consumer law, you are entitled to certain consumer guarantees and remedies if we fail to meet those guarantees. Without limiting those rights and remedies, if you have a major problem with one of our goods, you can choose between a refund or replacement of the goods. To initiate a return please contact [email protected] and state the reason for return. Generally, you will need to cover the cost of the return freight but you may be entitled to recover those expenses from us.
