About Kemarre Arts
Kemarre Arts was founded in 2006 by Jennifer Kemarre Martiniello as the ACT’s first and only arts based community social enterprise. Its brief is to provide support, liaison, mentoring, marketing and professional skills development across a range of visual and literary arts genres to First Nations artists living in the ACT and region on Ngunnawal/ Ngambri lands. Since its inception Kemarre Arts has provided support to over two hundred visual artists, writers, community groups and organisations. In 2012 Kemarre Arts was recognized for its achievements with an ACT NAIDOC Award for Most Outstanding Communty Agency/Organisation.
Artworks presented at AIATSIS IAMCBR 20224 include original limited edition lino and wood prints, screen printed and hand painted silk wall hangings, vitreous enameled vintage glassware, the Taking Care of Country Jewellery Collection, hot blown, enameled and/or kiln formed art glass, multimedia sculptural works, weaving and punu by established and award winning First Nations artists. Also available are anthologies of creative and socio-cultural commentary by emerging and established First Nations writers.
Shipping policy
The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy:
- Domestic Shipping Policy – The cost of postage and packaging is included in the cost of your purchase for domestic orders only or unless otherwise stated.
- For freighting very large items and/or international shipping we will contact you with a quotation, and your order will be shipped as soon as freight charges have been paid.
- International Shipping Policy -When shipping Artwork overseas, the purchaser is liable for any duties or taxes payable specific to the country of import. Kemarre Arts is not responsible, nor able to provide estimates for these charges. We recommend you contact your customs office for further information.
Refund policy
Please be aware that each artwork is unique and therefore any exchanges cannot be identical to the original item ordered. Should the artwork you purchase not meet your expectations, you may return it to Kemarre Arts within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange for another artwork of the same value (whichever you prefer), and pay only the return freight.
Please note that if you exchange it for an equivalent product, it will not be identical as all artworks are unique, but will be equivalent in value and/or type.
If you prefer a refund your payment will be made into the original account used to make the purchase.
Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:
- Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
- Returned items must have all original documentation, tags still on and be returned in
original packaging
- Returned items must be in their original condition and have no visible signs of wear, use
or damage
- To initiate a return or exchange, please complete the following steps:
-Send us an email with a product description and reason for return or exchange
-Send the item back to us
-Nominate your preference for a refund or exchange.
Return policy
You can return the product to us for an exchange with an equivalent product, or we can refund your payment into the original account used to make the purchase. Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:
