About Darrikardu Art Collective
Darrikardu Art Collective supports Artists from Communities around the Thamarrurr Region in the Northern Territory, including Wadeye, Nganmarriyanga (Palumpa), Peppimenarti, Nganambala (Emu Point), Wudikapildyerr, Merrepen Homelands, Nemarluk, Nama and Wudapuli.
Darrikardu Art Collective is dedicated to supporting artists within the Thamarrurr region. Creative talent in these remote areas have limited market access, the Collective aims to break these barriers by providing a platform for artists to showcase, sell their work and amplify their voices, stories and talents from this culturally diverse and vibrant heartland of Australia. Shipping policy
- AIATSIS Indigenous Art Market & Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair Foundation takes no responsibility for the negotiation, coordination or distribution of freight and shipping of purchases made at the 2024 online AIATSIS Indigenous Art Market. Items customers wish to purchase may require a manual quote for freight which will be charged separately.
- Shipping and freight costs are not included in the advertised purchase price unless this is stipulated at the point of purchase of the item by the Art Centre/Participant/Vendor.
- If shipping and freight costs are not stipulated at point of purchase, all shipping and freight costs must be arranged directly with the Art Centre/Participant/Vendor from where the purchase was made.
- If multiple items are purchased from different Art Centre/Participants/Vendors in the same transaction, customers must arrange shipping with each Art Centre/Participant/Vendor.
Refund policy
To ensure an informed shopping experience we are committed to providing as accurate details as possible, by providing images, description and measurements of our artworks for sale online.
If the artwork is found to be the under the following criteria, we will issue you a full refund.
- Has a major problem (e.g., the artwork is not as described, faulty, or damaged on arrival).
- Does not meet the description provided on our website or in any other communication.
- Is unfit for its stated purpose or cannot perform the task it is generally intended for.
- Has a defect that would make it unfit for sale or use.
Please note that:
- Change of mind: We do not offer refunds or exchanges for a change of mind. This includes instances where the artwork does not meet your expectations regarding colour, size, or style.
- Non-faulty items: If the artwork is returned in good condition but not faulty, we may not be able to offer a refund or replacement unless specified in our terms.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund under the above circumstances, please email [email protected] within 14 days of receiving your artwork.

To initiate a return email [email protected] within 14 days of receiving your artwork. Once we have received the return artwork and confirm its condition we will process your refund within 14 days. In cases of damaged or faulty items, we will cover the return shipping costs.
