Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our choice of materials— primarily 100% breathable cotton—and our minimal waste policy. Even our biodegradable packaging can be composted, reducing landfill and
our carbon footprint.

At the heart of Caressa Designs is a deep connection to ancient Aboriginal narratives, meticulously woven into every piece of children’s clothing we craft. Our garments aren’t just pieces of fabric; they’re a tapestry
of stories, a living testament to a rich heritage that dates back thousands of years.

While our designs are rooted in tradition, our practices are firmly anchored in the present, embracing sustainability at every turn. Made with care on the NSW South Coast, our pieces are lovingly created in small batches. This not only assures uniqueness but also allows us to stay true to our ethos, echoing the rhythms of the Land we so deeply respect.

Policies

Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

At times potential delays may be caused due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
We offer flat rate standard and express shipping Australia wide.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 4 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at [email protected] with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Our preferred shipping company is Australia Post. You can track your parcel here.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount. Return shipping is at the customers expense.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at [email protected] with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Refund policy

Choosing baby goods can be a gruelling decision; at Caressa Designs we will endeavour to work towards a successful resolution for both parties when issues arise.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

REFUND POLICY

Caressa Designs will refund your money within thirty (30) days if you have changed your mind.  Otherwise, if an item delivered is faulty, Caressa Designs will attempt to repair and/or replace the faulty item before offering a credit note or refund of the purchase price. Customers must produce proof of purchase when requesting a refund otherwise the decision to give you a refund, credit note, or exchange is at the discretion of Caressa Designs. You may be entitled to a credit, exchange or refund (less postage) where goods described are: significantly different, is the incorrect item, or does not perform as advertised or where otherwise required by law. Please note: if items are faulty or damaged in any way you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery of goods.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Submit a return request

Click the profile icon in the store’s navigation, or go to the refund policy or a returns page, and then request a return.

1. Log in to your account:

1. In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.

2. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.

3. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.

2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.

3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.

4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.

5. Click Request return.

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions. The customer is required to pay for return shipping. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

EXCHANGE POLICY

If you do change your mind in regards to a purchase, you may notify us as soon as possible. The item MUST be in resale condition, in original packaging, tags attached and the item is unused, we will gladly offer you an exchange or credit note for the purchase price less postage. If you do not have proof of purchase, Caressa Designs at our discretion may exchange or issue a credit note if the item is in re-saleable condition as stated above.

WARRANTY

All products have a manufacturers warranty and they and Caressa Designs reserve the right to inspect and assess any such proclaimed fault or damage and ask for proof of purchase. We may be required to send your purchased item to the manufacturer for assessment of the product in question and determine whether you are entitled to have it repaired, exchanged or refunded. This is at the manufacturers discretion and not Caressa Designs. Caressa Designs will not refund you if the manufacturer chooses to repair or exchange the product. If the manufacturer has attempted to repair and/or exchange the product but it is still not in complete working order then you will be entitled to a refund of the full purchase price less postage.

Your warranty does not cover: misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, inappropriate use for which the item was designed for or improper care of the product. If the product in question is not covered by warranty, then you will be required to pay for the postage or freight charges incurred in returning the goods to be assessed or repaired.
